We are so pleased to be helping the Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey. The work they do is vital to the families of sick children, enabling Mum and Dad to put their child to bed and be there when they wake up in the morning. Mac House is located next to Alder Hey Children's Hospital, meaning families are only ever a few minutes away from their sick children.

Specialist mattress retailer and luxury furniture designers, N:rem and Halo are supporting the incredible Mac House at Alder Hey through a charitable donation of 34 brand new mattresses. Trendsetter International brand, The Fine Bedding Company, have also joined in providing over 80 new pillows for the guest rooms in ‘The House that Love Built’.
House manager Wendy was thrilled to receive the donation:
“The mattresses and pillows here are up to 24 years old, but we can only afford to replace them when it’s absolutely necessary. This donation is going to help families get the rest they need at the most stressful time of their lives.”
Out with the old...
Mac House provide accommodation, completely free of charge, for the parents and carers of critically ill children staying in Alder Hey Children’s Hospital. Running costs of the house are in excess of £650k and it is reliant solely upon voluntary contributions. Last year alone, 1,300 families benefitted from being able to stay just minutes away from their children in their time of need.
